Flying off to Korea Tonight!

Off to Korea tonight... 8days of Korea with my parents, uncle & Qiuxia + mum! Well, i know nuts abt korean drama & etc..but still looking forward to the beautiful scenery and kimchi! :P

Set Dinner @ Royal Copenhagen

Dinner at Royal Copenhagen with sabsab...

Surprisingly not many ppl mayb its a weekday....

Set dinner at $28+++.. Start off with the greens...

Warm bread with butter and clear soup... yummmy...

We chose Sole Fillet for one of our main course..

Another main course, Bacon Spaghetti.. hmmm this doesnt taste great...dissapointed.

Ends off with tea or coffee....

And desserts... looks pretty but not very delicious either...

Marutama + Nectarie

My fave ramen shop.. has been some time since i went... Marutama at Central.

Dinner together with Von & Ying.. Seems like looooong time since we met for meal...

Didnt quite enjoyed my dinner tat night.. of cos definately not bcos of my jie meis, ramen was superbly good... i was so held up with last min stunts from my printer! Shitzzz... jipkop la...

Hmm must make myself happy, so brought the gals to Nectarie at Clarke Quay for dessert...

Oh this tea was great! Some peony tea.. very nice wor!

Long time since i had a "proper dinner" with cyncyn.. we met up and went Vivo for dinner, end up at Kim Gary again! Haha... Cheap and Good! Wierd pose cyn invented..

Tea Loft @ Ion

Nice decor and sweet wall color reali soothes stress of a hectic day...

The interior of the cafe.. very nicely designed.. love it!

You tiao and butterfly goes well with tea & coffee! Bought them from one of the stall at Food Opera..

Bak Kut Teh @ Food Opera

Tried Balestier Bak Kut Teh at Ion Opera Food Court recently with Shushu...

Is it a printing error??? $3 for hot water?! Its more expensive than Lime Juice! Think they simply just don't want customers to ask for hot water...

Ordered the normal Bak Kut Teh with my fave salted veg and you tiao.. Soup was good but meat isnt tender enough... After i finish the soup wonder is it free to add soup??? Cos the $3 hot water is still in my mind.. haha.. anyway.. its FREE to add soup! The attentive waiter simply fill them up when he saw its finishing.. :)

Always "smelly" restaurant.. Luckily tat day was quite ok.. must be some ventilation problem.. Wonder are they gonna look into it??

Ice milk tea with chin chow and my plum juice...

Plum sauce roast duck.. so-so not very nice.. Dian Xiao Er still the best!

Prawn with mango sauce.. nice..

Chicken with apple.. not too bad.. taste just like gou lou yok..

Baby cabbage with 3 eggs.. delicious!!

Kaiko Ramen

Tried the Ramen at Kaiko, Ion B4.. Opt for thicker red miso soup base... Not too bad.. nice!
Personally feels that its definately better than Aoba.. :P

Sashimi Platter.. Thumbs up.. FRESH!

Grilled Salmon... Superb.. though its a very ordinary dish, but this is the best i tasted so far!

Stewed Chicken with radish daikon.. not too bad..slightly too sweet for us..

Intro sabsab this very nice Pomelo Fried Chicken...

Fresh prawns are going at special price...we order a couple grilled prawns..
Had a very satisfying meal! No more queuing up at Sushi Tei for us! Itacho offering equally nice food with very reasonable price!

Dessert at Gusttimo Ion.. opened by a korean couple. Above is their so called 4 scoops in a cup.. Dont expect it to be big round scoops.. But its yummmmy.... we tried the Chai Tea, Mango, Dark Chocolate and one more flavour i cant remb!
