Day 1
Singapore ~ Incheon
1035pm flight by Asiana Airlines
8 days Grandeur of Korea by Chan Brothers

Day 2
Nami Island ~ Seoul ~ Jeju Island

Arrival in Seoul Incheon Airport at 6am (Korean Time; 1 hour ahead)
Finally reached! Didnt sleep whole night on board...super tired!

Fisrt destination to Nami Island, 《冬季恋歌〉拍摄场景.
Very cold! Reckon about 8 - 10 degree??

Need to take a 5 mins boat ride.

Back to mainland...

Our first meal at Korea...
Lunch is Stir fried chicken with cabbage and korean nian gao, to be wrapped in the lettuce.
Taste so so la, no appetite after overnight flight also...

After lunch, head straight to famous shopping area, Dongdaemun for some shopping!
Ooh.. stuffs there aint cheap! Shoes easily price at least $200 - $400, no brand one lo! Bought some earrings & accessories at abt $15 - $20.

Took a rest at one of the cafe, innovative number tag will brighten up when order is ready for collection.

Dinner was Bimbimbap (Hot stone rice with veg) and Veg with Pork Soup..
Bimbimbap taste not too bad, hot soup just nice for the hectic first day...

After dinner, we proceed to transfer flight to Jeju Island.. Arh.. take plane again but only an hour, very near...

Check in to Jeju Oriental Hotel, gonna stay 2 nites at Jeju.. Hotel looks old but clean and all neccassary amenties, water pot, hair dryer.. etc all available.

Day 3
Jeju Island

Our breakfast ~ Abalone Porridge
Cannot really see abalone though.. :( but taste good la...

First destination at Jeju Island ~ Yongduam Rock

Famous Yongduam rock looks like a dragon head...

Korea's 土地公
People touches the nose, hope to give birth to a son..

Next at Sungsan Sunrise Peak

Super big wind.. dad and mum couldnt walk up... see their eyes cant even open!

Haha.. ATV ride was next! Very fun but super dusty! Eww....

Wow after so much for one morning, we were hungry!
Black Pork BBQ!! This is one of the best meal in our trip.... very delicious! My fave, kurobuta in jap.. Yummy!!

Rice, meat, kimchi, ikan billis...etc... wrapped with lettuce & seaweed.. Thumbs up!

After lunch, sightseeing at Jeju Folk Village

Uphill road, off engine but vehicle automatically roll up the hill! Well, we tested it.. its true.
View from eye is up slope but in actual fact its a down slope.. wierd..illusion?

Sun starts to goes down at as early as 5pm..

Dinner time! Ginseng Wine

Yeap.. our dinner was Ginseng Chicken Soup with Mee Sua... Shiok ah! Very nice in such cold cold weather!

Bought a Ice cream with sponge cake and chocolate milk from convenient store.. ice cream was good!!

Day 4
Jeju ~ Daegu

Buffet breakfast at Hotel

Took one hour flight to Daegu, back to the mainland of Korea. 3rd largest city after Seoul and Busan.

Lunch was Organic Toufu Soup.... Very Very Delicious!!! Love it...

Nice scenery while on the way up hill to big buddha..

After lunch, sightseeing at Donghwa Temple... Famous for the Bigh Buddha Statue... Buddism is the 2nd popular religion in Korea.

Proceed to the Spa Valley for Doctor Fish Treatment and Hot Spring..
Mum and Dad first time try it.. they were very excited!

Dinner was Veg soup again.. lucky i love soupy stuffs!

After dinner, shopping at Jungangro Street, Daegu.. Each of us given a free cuppa... bring along while shopping..nice...

According to our tour guide, we were given a free upgrade to the better wing! Cool...
Indeed very clean and new... :)

Bought some cosmetics from Etude House.. look at the freebies.. its equally the same amount of what i've bought.. Think the cosmetics houses there are very competitive.. each different brands giving off lotsa free gifts when you purchase something from the shop.

This is real milk, not cosmetic wor! Bought from a bakery shop.. i like the bottle..

Day 5
Daegu ~ Muju

Sumptous Lunch... Not enough space to place all the plates! Delicious...

Beautiful colorful trees this season

To Naejangsan... too bad we didnt get to see the fully red maple.. at least 2 more weeks i guess..most of the maple here are still green...

A little dissapointed as cant get to see the famous fiery red maple leaves at Naejangsan..But currently the colourful trees also nice mah right?! haha...

Muju ~ Seoul

Accomodation at Seoul Capital Hotel.. the worst hotel of all.. rather old but still all neccessaties were avaliable...very unique furniture though...

Xia's friend working in Seoul brought us out for supper that nite... Wooo delicious!!!

Day 7
Seoul

Suppose to get a bird eye view of Seoul but too bad the weather was very foggy cant see much...

Wow this restaurant was voted the best toilet in Seoul in 2003!

Ah seoul's best toilet leh.. xia of cos must go check it out la... Toilet Queen leh! Haha...
